Please join us for the keynote luncheon at our annual Rachel Shankman Symposium, featuring Dr. Aya Marczyk, a Research Scholar at Yale University's MacMillan Center and Curriculum Development Fellow at Yale’s Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies. Dr. Marczyk will discuss her work to bring the Fortunoff collection into classrooms to engage students in historical reflection that situates the Shoah in its multiple twentieth-century contexts. The conversation will explore ways to bring important stories and histories to our students and how we can create bridges between the work of professional historians and history classrooms, and will be followed by a Q&A.
